Our original “roots” were, quite literally, roots. Horseradish roots, to be precise. When the Gold family first started grinding horseradish roots into gourmet horseradish in 1932, the first jars were hand labeled and distributed to New York’s finest delis.
Our new look returns to that of the original label, our trademarked shield with the signature diagonal stripe. Our new “look-and-feel” has been updated to adapt to our expanded line of products and many convenient-sized packaging options for grocery stores and foodservice.
While the outside look may be updated to reflect our roots, the way we make our premium horseradish varieties, mustards, soups and sauces remains unchanged. We use the same old world recipes that have made Gold’s deli favorites for more than 80 years.
