Mustard has a way of making our mouths water. Adding two different kinds of Gold’s Mustards, Honey & Deli Style, combines the kick of horseradish and the sweetness of honey with our warm, crunchy loveliness of oyster crackers.
This recipe is super flexible, so you can add pretzels, nuts or cereal as you wish! Just increase the amount of butter and mustard as you increase the amount of dry ingredients to cover.
1 bag or box of oyster crackers
3 tbsp butter, melted
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp Gold’s Deli Style Mustard
3 tbsp Gold’s Honey Mustard
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chipotle powder
Preheat the oven to 250º F.
Place the crackers in a large mixing bowl.
In a small microwave-safe dish, melt the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the honey, deli mustard, honey mustard, onion powder and garlic powder to the bowl and mix gently to combine. Pour this mixture over the crackers. Mix to combine.
Pour the snack mix onto a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper (for easy cleanup!). Bake mix at 250º F for 40 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes.
Sprinkle with chipotle powder.
Allow the snack mix to cool, stirring as needed to break up any clumps.
Store in an airtight container for up to one week…but we’re sure they won’t last that long!
